About

The independent guide to UK padel.

Padelify exists because the UK’s fastest-growing racket sport has outpaced the information about it. There are 577 padel venues across England, Scotland and Wales. Players deserve somewhere to find them, read about them honestly, and decide where to play without being sold to.

What Padelify is

Padelify is the independent editorial guide to UK padel. We catalogue every venue in England, Scotland and Wales, visit the ones worth visiting, and write honestly about what we find. The court finder helps you find somewhere to play. The reviews help you decide whether it’s worth your time. The collections curate the best venues by the decisions players actually make, best after-work scene, best for beginners, worth travelling for. We’re built for players who care where they play.

Why this exists

UK padel grew from a few hundred courts in 2020 to over 1,700 today, and according to the Playtomic Global Padel Report 2026 the UK now sits as a “demand-led Hotspot” in the global padel market. That growth has been faster than the information about it. The venues you’ll find on booking platforms are listed because they pay to be listed. The reviews you’ll read on Google are written by people who played there once and rated it five stars because the staff were nice. There’s no independent editorial voice holding the scene to a standard.

That’s the gap Padelify exists to fill. Not a directory that lists everything. Not a booking platform that profits from your decision. A trusted editorial source that tells you which courts are worth your time, which clubs are worth your membership, and which venues are worth travelling for, based on actually going there.

Who’s behind it

Padelify is founded and edited by Feroz Baig. Feroz is a Chartered Accountant trained at EY, with a finance background that has nothing to do with padel, which is exactly why this works. He has no commercial relationship with any venue, brand, or operator in the sport. Independence is the credential.

He’s also a player. Based in West London, recovering from an ACL injury in late 2025 that gave him the time to start visiting venues with proper editorial intent. The reviews are his. The visits are his. The judgement is his.

How we work

Every venue we review, we visit. Some we visit twice. We take photographs, we play (where possible), we talk to staff, we sit in the cafe at 8pm on a Tuesday. We rate venues across six dimensions. Game, Scene, Club, Path, Standard and Trade, using a five-tier system from World Class to Weak. We classify our coverage into three layers: Reviewed, Visited and Listed.

You can read the full methodology here. It explains exactly what we measure, how we measure it, and what each rating means.

What we won’t do

Padelify doesn’t take payment for venue placement, rankings, or coverage. Operators cannot pay to be listed higher, reviewed more positively, or featured in our collections. Editorial judgement is independent and stays independent.

What we will do, eventually and clearly disclosed, is recommend equipment we’ve tested (with affiliate links that don’t affect our editorial choice), run sponsored newsletter sections that are visibly marked, partner with events and tournaments that align with our standards, and develop Padelify-branded products. The principle is simple: editorial choice never follows the money; money may follow editorial choice. That’s the inversion that protects integrity. When commercial relationships exist, they’re stated. When they don’t, they don’t.

What’s live, what’s next

At launch, Padelify covers 577 UK padel venues, with the first full review published and 10+ to follow within the first months. Over the next 18 months we’ll visit another 30–40 venues, expand the editorial team, and publish city guides for the UK’s main padel scenes. The newsletter, The Padel Briefing, goes out every Tuesday with new venues, scene shifts, and what’s actually worth knowing.
